After a bout with bronchitits in college that left her with a raspy singing voice she hated, she spent years softening her sound with whisper vocals. It worked.  She charmed chill soul crowds and earned her share of spotlight.

But it wasn’t the real voice. And she knew it.

That changed when her longtime producer friend, David Levene, bluntly called her out:
“Why are you hiding behind that whisper sh*t?”

What followed wasn’t just a shift—it was a full reckoning.

Today, Sofie’s music blends deep soul with blues, gospel, and southern rock—music that doesn’t tiptoe or pretend. It testifies. Her upcoming single “Oh Baby” is a full-bodied anthem to that rebirth, recorded analog-style and backed by a capsule line of vinyl and wearable soul.
